The New Testament uses several images
to depict the church. It’s like a body, a family, a building, an army, even a bride. All these images underscore the
importance of being connected to
a local church.
The first step is becoming a Christian and then following Christ in baptism, but we also need to find a church home.
At the conclusion of the sermon during
the worship service each Sunday,
the pastor invites those who desire to
make a public commitment to come
down to the pastor and share with him your decision. You will be recognized
and welcomed.
You will also be given a “New Member” packet of material about our church. If
you have additional questions about any
of this, Pastor James will be happy to
visit privately with you.
